FLOW Landers FC Ties with Valley Soccer Club

On Saturday 25th June, Flow Lancers FC and Valley
Soccer Club played out to a 1-1 draw, with Flow
Lancers FC currently remain in third spot, with Valley
Soccer Club still at the bottom of the table.

Both teams will be hoping for a VSADC win by a
sizeable margin, which would result in FLOW Lancers
FC staying third, and Valley Soccer Club finishing a
place ahead of FC Pioneers on goal difference.

Valley Soccer Club completely dominated the first half,
showing great confidence on the ball and produced
plenty of high-quality attacking patterns of play, but
lacked the cutting edge required to affect the
scoreboard. For the entire first half, Flow Lancers FC
rode their luck tremendously, by managing to stay in
the game, and produced a few half chances
themselves.

In the 55 th min, substitute Nakeem Joseph of Valley
Soccer Club scored a fantastic goal from outside the
box to make it 1-0 curling a scorching shot to the far
post, past the hapless FLOW Lancers FC goalkeeper.

Intense pressure continued from Valley Soccer Club
seeking a second goal to confirm their victory. But
with all their dominance, they struggled to find their
attacking rhythm, and slowly allowed the confidence
of FLOW Lancers FC to grow, in hopes of getting back
into the game.

Against the run of play, Flow Lancers FC managed to
equalize in the 65 th min through Sherman Jn Charles
scoring off a brilliant through ball, calmly tucking it to
the near post past, the on-rushing Valley Soccer
goalkeeper.
