past 3 days.
In the first of a doubleheader on Saturday night,
Victory Eagles 1 had to pull all the stops to ensure that
they got all 3 points from their game against W.
Mangue U.
Victory Eagles went into the dressing room with a 2 nil
lead at half time with goals coming from Sheniel
Hippolyte and Khan Joseph in the 4 th and 19 th minute.
However, it was Sanjay Bastien with a brace in the
66th and 79th minute who gave W. Mangue U much
hope. However, Hosea Mathurin sealed the deal for
the EAGLES in stoppage time to give his team a 3 – 2
win.
In the second game, Uptown Rebels found it a bit
easier when they defeated Victory Eagles 2, by 2 goals
to nil. Uptown Rebels, scored either side of the half
with Jason Isidore scoring in the 35th minute and
Donovan Jn. Baptiste in the 83rd minute.
On Sunday, it was an all-Platinum affair when they
stamped their authority on the game and defeated
Stable Boyz 8-1. Kurt Frederick, Jaheim Ferdinand and
Shan Alfred each scored a brace with the other two
goals coming from Saviola Elva and Noah Lucky
Nicholas. Stable Boys lone scorer was Archie Vigier.
On Monday night, Knights got the better of
SHAMBALLA SHILOH 2-1 with Jervel Farler and Giles
Sealys scoring in the 8th and 65th minute, while Chad
Flavien was SHAMBALLA’S lone scorer in the
70th minute.
