Police have recaptured a burglary suspect identified as Randy Charles who escaped police custody at the Micoud Police Station while awaiting transfer to the Bordelais Correctional Facility (BCF) after a court appearance on the burglary charge.
On Tuesday 18th April, 2023 Charles was found in a house at Cul de Sac, Castries. Police shot him in the leg as it was reported he approached them aggressively and failed to comply with orders.
He was transported to the Owen King European Union Hospital where he was reported to be in stable condition.
