Police personnel responded to an emergency call on Sunday evening. It was reported that 47-year-old Nicole Charles was shot dead at Bruceville, Vieux Fort.
This comes after three shootings Saturday evening, where a man was shot dead at Cedar Heights and shortly after a woman and her two-year-old grandson were shot dead in the Mang.
Police have urged anyone with information regarding that incident to contact the nearest police station, the Vieux Fort Police Station at 456- 3905, 456-3906, or the Crime Hotline at 555 for anonymous reporting.
