On Saturday 8th April, 2023 emergency personnel responded to an emergency call at approximately 9:37 pm.
A two-year-old and his grandmother succumbed to gunshot injuries at the Mang, Vieux Fort.
It was reported that the two-year-old was found with negative vitals while the grandmother succumbed to her injuries later.
Bringing the total of homicides for the evening to three.
Police have urged anyone with information regarding that incident to contact the nearest police station, the Vieux Fort Police Station at 456- 3905, 456-3906, or the Crime Hotline at 555 for anonymous reporting.
