Christopher Boucher, a Saint Lucian-Canadian professional basketball player (center) who plays for the Toronto Raptors of the National Basketball Association paid a visit to his country of Saint Lucia over the last few days.
Hon. Kenson Casimir, Minister for Youth Development and Sports was present to welcome the NBA star home and offered assistance with training at sporting facilities. The President of the St. Lucia Basketball Association, Leslie Collymore was also present to greet the player.
Saint Lucia hopes to strengthen ties with Chris Boucher to encourage opportunities for development of our young people in the field of basketball.
Boucher played college basketball for the Oregon Ducks. Welcome home!
