URGENT POTHOLING WORKS TO COMMENCE TOMORROW
The Department of Infrastructure, Ports and Transport wishes to inform the public that our Road Maintenance Unit will commence urgent potholing works in the following areas on Wednesday July 6th, 2022 from 9 am:
· Choc roundabout to the John Compton Highway
· Castries Waterfront
· Castries-Gros Islet Highway
As a result of these road works, motorists and commuters should expect delays when traversing the aforementioned areas.
The Department understands the delays, inconveniences and complexities involved in executing road maintenance works on weekdays.
However, the heavy downpours over the past weeks have delayed the commencement of already scheduled works and have also raised further infrastructural issues requiring urgent attention.
Motorists are urged to exercise extreme caution when traversing the aforementioned areas, and to pay heed to the associated signage.
The Department of Infrastructure, Ports and Transport regrets any inconveniences arising as a result of the road maintenance works.
