Emergency Personnel received a call for help On Thursday April 20th, 2023 at approximately 6:30 pm regarding a robbery at Morne Fortune, Castries.
It was reported that the victim of the robbery was on a walk when the attack occurred.
Upon arrival officers were informed that the victim had been transported to a medical facility by an ambulance and that a .357 revolver with six rounds of ammunition were stolen from the victim.
On Saturday April 22nd, 2023 eighteen-year-old Jaleni Reynold of Pavee, Castries was arrested in relation to the incident.
He has been charged for robbery, grievous harm, possession of ammunition and possession of firearm.
Jaleni Reynold appeared in First District Court on Monday 24th April, 2023. He was denied bail and has been remanded in custody.
