Monday 24th, April 2023 emergency personnel responded to an emergency call at approximately 3:13 pm.
It was reported a minibus and a truck collided at La Bayee, Bexon.
The minibus driver Joel Nelson was among those who sustained injuries and was transported to the Owen King EU Hospital.
Nelson succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead by a medical practitioner.
Joel Nelson was in his early forties and was from Carielle, Castries.
