The MSME Loan Grant Facility has disbursed a total of XCD 140,000 collectively to successful applicants to invest in their businesses.
On Monday April 24th, 2023 six business owners received disbursements.
The MSME Loan Grant Facility officially launched March 16th, 2023 with the aim to assist in financing small business start-ups along with existing businesses seeking expansion.
To date, the MSME has received over seventy applications from local businesses.
The successful applicants will receive grant funding of 70% and loan funding of 30% at a rate of only 3%.
At least five hundred small business owners will benefit from this initiative.
