The Pierre administration has continued an initiative started by former Saint Lucia Labor Party (SLP) Prime Minister Hon. Dr. Kenny Anthony.
The government is on course to provide every school student with a laptop device.
On April 11th, 2023 the government accepted five thousand laptops from Taiwan while thousands of devices have already been distributed within the last eighteen months to students.
The new devices are set to be distributed among the first-form secondary students for the new 2024 academic school year in September.
