On Monday 3rd April, 2023 Police personnel responded to a shooting incident along the Morne Cayenne Highway, Vieux Fort.
The Saint Lucia Fire Service (SLFS) says the injured man sustained ‘penetrating wounds’ to the hand and arm.
The incident occurred at about 3:10 pm.
Stacy Joseph, SLFS Communications officer says an ambulance transported the injured man to the St.Jude Hospital where he was later discharged.
After being released, the man and the two other individuals who were involved in the altercation were arrested by the RSLPF for further investigations.
