The Minister of Health, Hon. Moses Jn Baptiste announced the arrival of the US Medical Brigade today, March 6th, 2023.
The Ministry of Health and Ministry of External Affairs has worked together to bring in the US military brigade. The Brigade, which consists of doctors and other medical professionals will be operating out of the Owen King EU Hospital alongside local medical professionals.
“Locals were advised to register at various health and wellness centers and that the turnout has been great with numbers of Saint Lucians registering for medical services. Services that include but is not limited to minor surgeries and other investigations. We look forward to the services that will be provided by the US Medical Brigade,” says Hon. Jn. Baptiste.
The Minister says a number of Saint Lucians are expected to get assistance through the US Medical Brigade.
