An Anesthesia machine was purchased at a cost of over Seventy Three Thousand Dollars ($73,000) and gifted to the St Jude Hospital last week as stated by the Minister for Health, Hon. Moses Jn Baptiste.
The minister expressed his happiness in the partnership with the hospital to ensure more services in the surgical department can be made available.
“A few weeks ago, we had a situation where the anesthesia machine at the St Jude Hospital was challenged and we had to collaborate with the Owen King EU Hospital and also the Respiratory Hospital, to ensure that an anesthesia machine was sent to the St Judes Hospital,” said the Minister.
Hon. Jn Baptiste wishes to thank all the medical professionals who worked to make it possible to do so.
He stated that a brand new advanced machine has been purchased and hopes to continue assisting the St Jude Hospital.
