SLFA Division 2 Football Continues
Two matches were played at Desruisseaux on Monday
evening in the SLFA’s Inc. Division 2 competition.
In a fiercely contested encounter, BAYS FC only just
got the better of Togetherness Youth 3 – 2. They were
led by Nick Longville with a brace in the 12 th and 22 nd
min and the clincher by Rick Leonty in the 6 th min of
added on time. Nick Mondesir and Rohan Lammie
scored for Togetherness Youth in the 15 th and 90 th min.
respectively.
In the second encounter, a determined and spirited
New Generations FC recovered from being one goal
down to get the better of Diamond Ballers 3 – 1, with
a brace by Jeremie Abraham in the 61 st and 73 rd min
and the other by Sherma Lionel in the 44 th min. Jesse
James scored for Diamond Ballers in the 5 th min.
