About 7:40pm on Wednesday June 1st, police responded to a shooting in the community of Odsan.
The victim, Velez Philip, 27 from the community of Ciceron, was on a motorcycle when gunmen opened fire on him and another male who he was traveling with. Philip was pronounced dead on the scene.
