The Northern Cluster Grass Roots Cricket Representative 15 years and under age group team completed a nail biting 4 run victory over the visiting Trojans Cricket Academy from the UK, on Wednesday April 13, 2022 at the Gros Islet Playing Field.
The Northern Cluster Grass Roots team batting first, made 216 all out in 27.3 overs, with skipper, Khan Elcock top scoring with 67, inclusive of 7 fours and 5 sixes.
Other useful scores came from Isaiah Jones with 31, Darvin Forde 26 not out, Jaheem Simeon 18 and Jewelle Simon 13.
The wicket takers for Trojans Cricket Academy were, Shufle Bottom with 3 for 27 in 4 overs, Matthew Key; 2 for 31 in 6 overs and 1 wicket each to Will Jackson, Harry Blindel, Sam Sillete and Henry House Ham.
In reply, the Trojans Cricket Academy was dismissed for 212 in 35.1 overs, with Amillia Salmann making 42, Matthew Key 35 not out, Evan Dopson 24 and Sam Sillete 21.
The wicket takers for the Northern Cluster Grassroots team were; Darvin Forde with 4 for 21 in 5 overs, Isaiah Jones 3 for 29 in 7.1 overs and 1 wicket each to Jn. Claude Emmanuel, Andrus Paul, Leon Alexander and Bjorn Fanis.
