St. Lucia Heads to World U20 Championships

The St Lucia Athletics Association (SLAA) announced that young athlete Kadeem Larcher will represent St. Lucia in the 100m event at the 2024 World Athletics U20 Championship. The competition will be held in Lima, Peru.

Larcher, who trains with Speed Printing Survivors, has shown remarkable speed and determination on the track. Additionally, his hard work has earned him a spot among the world’s top athletes. The SLAA expressed confidence that he will make St. Lucia proud.

Also joining Larcher at the U20 Championship will be Coach Cuthbert Modeste, a seasoned professional with extensive experience in nurturing young talent. Lisa Joseph will serve as the team’s manager.

In summary, the World Athletics U20 Championship is scheduled for August 27 – 31 in Lima. The event brings together the best young athletes from around the globe to compete in various track and field events. The SLAA urges everyone to support Larcher as he embarks on this journey.
