LIAT 2020, the rebranded version of the iconic regional airline, has taken to the skies again!

On 6th August, the airline completed its inaugural flight to St Lucia. This development marks a critical moment for the island’s economy, promising enhanced regional connectivity crucial for tourism, trade, and investment.

LIAT 2020’s re-entry comes with a new flight schedule, signaling its intent to re-establish itself as a vital link in Caribbean travel. To begin, the thrice-weekly inter-island airline will fly to specific islands, namely, Antigua, Barbados and St. Lucia to begin with. The airline’s initial routes are designed to meet high-demand areas, potentially increasing tourist arrivals and business travel to St. Lucia, thus significantly impacting the island’s economic landscape.
