Emergency Personnel attached to the Marigot Police Station responded to a report of a lifeless male body at about 1:30 pm On Wednesday, June, 14, 2023 in Marigot.
On arrival, officers observed the body of a male with multiple gunshot wounds about his body.
The male was later identified as thirty-eight-year-old Ernie Byron of Jacmel.
He was pronounced dead on the scene by a medical practitioner.
The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force wishes to urge anyone with information regarding this incident to contact the nearest police station or the Marigot Police Station at 456-3895 or the Crime Hotline at 555 for anonymous reporting.
