The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force conducted a joint operation on Wednesday 17th May, 2023 at approximately 5:00 am.
Officers attached to the Northern Division and the Special Services Unit conducted searches in two abandoned structures at Morne Serpent, Gros Islet.
Twenty-three rounds of 9mm ammunition, three ski masks, one firearm cleaner and two 9mm magazines were recovered during the search.
No arrests had been made, investigations are ongoing into this matter.
