On Sunday, May, 7 2023 about 3:00 a.m. during a joint Police Operation Officers of the Criminal Investigations Department, Gros Islet Police Station, Bicycle Patrol Unit, Special Services Unit, Police Complaints Unit and the Regional Security System (RSS) conducted an operation in Derniere Riviere, La Caye, and Richfond, Dennery. The purpose of the operation was to conduct searches at various locations.
During the conduct of that operation, a Search Warrant was executed on the premises of Brad Deterville, Keyan Joseph and Marvin Alexander of Richfond, Dennery. The Officers recovered one (1) Pump Action Shotgun and one (1) round of 12-gauge Ammunition. They were arrested and charged with the offence of Possession of a Firearm and Possession of Ammunition.
On Monday, May 8, 2023 Brad Deterville, Keyan Joseph and Marvin Alexander were escorted to the First District Court for the purpose of a bail hearing. They were each granted bail for the offence of Possession of Firearm in the sum of thirty thousand ($30,000) dollars and for the offence of Possession of Ammunition in the sum of five thousand ($5000) dollars. And other bail conditions.
