Ramos Evans of Cosmellieur, France appeared before the First District Court on Tuesday, May 2nd, 2023 for the case of the reckless manslaughter of Jazmine Chandler-Tabb.
On Friday 7th April, 2023 at approximately 4:15 pm a young woman was rushed to the Gros Islet Polyclinic following a jet ski accident at Reduit Beach.
It was reported that the woman was struck while in the water by a jet ski driven by Evans.
Officers later confirmed that the victim succumbed and was pronounced dead by a medical practitioner. The deceased was formally identified as Jazmine Chandler-Tabb of New York, United States of America.
Evans was granted bail in the sum of $150,000 cash or suitable surety with special court conditions. The case has been adjourned to a later date.
