On Thursday, March 30th, 2023 The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF) preferred charges to Cuthbert Similien of Maynard Hill, Marchand, Castries in connection to a shooting.
On Sunday, March 26th, 2023 at approximately 10:45 am officers attached to the Marchand Police Station responded to a shooting incident.
It was reported one man had been shot and was transported to a medical facility via private transportation.
The man is said to be in stable condition.
Cuthbert Similien has been formally charged with the offenses of discharging of Firearm, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Unlawful Possession of Ammunition.
He is currently being remanded.
