Emergency personnel attached to the Traffic Unit responded to a distress call of an accident on the Bexon Highway at about 6:35 pm on Saturday, June 24th, 2023.
A pedestrian who was later identified as fifty-seven-year-old Victor Bernadine of Bexon, Castries was said to have been riding a bicycle when he was struck by a motor vehicle.
Bernadine was transported to the Owen King European Hospital via ambulance.
Officers were later informed that Victor Bernadine succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead by a medical practitioner.
Investigations are ongoing into this incident.
