Emergency Personnel attached to the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force responded to an emergency call at about 2:30 pm on Monday afternoon.
Four gunmen said to be traveling in a motor vehicle opened fire on two individuals standing along the roadside in Ti Rocher, Castries.
It was reported the targeted individuals escaped without injuries.
The gunmen attempted to flee the scene when they crashed into another vehicle traveling in the opposite direction.
The men abandoned the vehicle and took off on foot.
