On Sunday 28th May, 2023 at about 10:15 pm a female pedestrian sustained serious injuries after being struck by a motorcycle in Grand Rivière, Gros Islet.
Emergency personnel attached to the Gros Islet Fire Service received a distress call at about 10:25 pm to which they responded with two ambulances.
Eyewitnesses say the biker was heading toward the north when he struck the female pedestrian while she was crossing the street.
The female was said to have sustained injuries to her legs.
The biker reportedly sustained injuries to his right leg.
There are no further details at this time.
