Parliamentary Representative for Choiseul Bradley Felix is urging community members to be on high alert following the recent robbery and shooting last weekend.
On Sunday 21st May, 2023 at about 7:30 pm, A young man in his twenties sustained gunshot injuries in a shooting incident at Caffiere, Choiseul.
He says that the community has been known as a safe haven and the recent criminal activities are concerning.
The Choiseul MP asks that community residents look out for each other and be vigilant to activities and persons who may seem suspicious.
“It is concerning that you know a community like ours which is continuously peaceful and is a place where people look to come and relax, and chill safe.. that sort of activity would happen in our community. It is very concerning to me as a parliamentary rep and I’m asking all citizens, all residents you know let us ensure that we look out for each other.” the MP stated.
“Let us look out for that kind of activity, let’s us denounce it you know, let us ask the questions and again I’m sure somebody may have seen something, I’m sure somebody may have heard something and we need to you know take a stand and show these negative elements in our society that we will not stand for that kind of behavior.” he added
