Three Injured After Minibus Brake Failure In Castries 

Officers attached to the Saint Lucia Fire Service (SLFS) headquarters in Castries responded to a distress call at approximately 9:30 am Sunday morning. 

It was reported a minibus’s brakes had failed and collided with another vehicle and struck a female pedestrian at Barnard Hill, Castries. 

Emergency personnel responded with a fire truck and an ambulance. 

The female pedestrian who had serious injuries was said to be immobilized on the scene before being transported to the hospital. 

The minibus driver and a female passenger were also transported to the Owen King EU Hospital. 

There are no further details available at this time.
