Prime Minister of Saint Lucia, Hon. Philip J. Pierre is set to present his maiden budget today April 26 2022 at 5pm at the House of Assembly in Castries. This will be followed by debate presentations by members of the Lower House from Thursday April 28th to Friday 29th. The Senate is expected to sit the following Tuesday May 3rd at 10am.
Meanwhile, Hon. Allen Chastanet, Leader of the Opposition has called a press conference today at 10:30am to discuss his Party’s position on the budget.
