According to Nation News, a Barbados media house, De Pieza has resigned from her post as President of the Democratic Labour Party.
She took over as President after the DLP had lost all 30 seats in 2018. Barbados held their General Elections on Wednesday January 19th and saw a resounding victory again with 30-0 by Prime Minister Mia Mottley and her team of the Barbados Labour Party (BLP).
The Democratic Labour Party of Barbados (DLP) has gone down in history in the Caribbean as the Party to have lost all seats for two consecutive elections.
