St Lucia saw a significant rise in tourism in July 2024, welcoming over 41,000 visitors, a 32% increase from the previous year.
The boost is attributed to events like the Lucian Carnival and expanded flights by American Airlines and JetBlue.
The U.S. led the surge with a 52% month-on-month increase, followed by notable growth from Canada, the UK, and the Caribbean.
The island anticipates a strong 2024 – 2025 tourism season, fueled by increased visibility from its first Olympic medal and ongoing tourism initiatives.
