Emergency Personnel attached to the Soufriere Fire Station received a call for assistance on Saturday 24th June, 2023 at about 3:05 pm.
It was reported a sixty-three-year-old farmer had been bitten by a fer-de-lance snake at Belvedere, Canaries.
The victim who was later identified as Antonious Ford, sustained an injury to his leg.
Ford was transported to the Owen King EU Hospital via ambulance.
