The Saint Lucia Labour Party has issued a statement following the passing of Winston Springer sr.
Springer who was a former general manager of Radio Saint Lucia passed away Tuesday evening.
“It is with a heavy heart we mourn the loss of Winston Springer Sr., former journalist and presenter for the Government Information Service.
Winston co-hosted with Michael Gaspard for Parliamentary Sittings and was well-known for his diction and wittiness when presenting on national issues.
The Saint Lucia Labour Party takes this time to extend deepest condolences to his son, Winston Springer Jr., his family and friends. His death was sudden but his memory will live on.
May he rest in peace.” the party shared via a social media post.
