The yearly awards program held by the Association of the Caribbean Commissioners Police Police (ACCP) and the Amalgamated Security Services Limited (ASSL) was held on Monday, May 22nd, 2023 at the Hyatt Hotel in Trinidad and Tobago.
The award serves to highlight nine police officers from countries of the ACCP. The awardees received awards for the year 2022.
Inspector in charge of the criminal investigations department for Castries, Shervon Matthieu won the award for Top Caribbean Crime Fighter Award.
Two officers from Saint Lucia also received runner up awards.
Corporal Kerlin St.Jean who is in charge of the Community Relations Branch of the Vieux Fort Police Station was awarded second runner-up for the category of Top Caribbean Community Policing Officer.
Assistant Superintendent Annanthar Wilson who is the Officer in charge of the Criminal Investigations Department, Castries was awarded First Runner-up in the Top Caribbean Career Move category.
