Pierre says all government ministries and agencies with responsibility for disaster management and community disaster management committees across the island have been activated in preparation should the storm affect the country.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The public is urged to familiarize themselves with the location of these centers in the respective communities.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He stated the National Emergency Management Advisory Committee (NEMAC) was activated on Tuesday, June 20th, 2023 and he is expected to chair another meeting of NEMAC Thursday morning at 9:00 am.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
