The Bank, which is the first Caribbean financial company to serve as Title Sponsor and Official Bank of the annual cricket tournament, will partner with Cybersource, a subsidiary of fellow CPL sponsor, VISA, to facilitate the sale of match day tickets on CPL\u2019s website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This year, fans across the region and worldwide will use Republic Bank\u2019s e-commerce solution, EPay, to buy tickets online to see their favorite teams in action. The CPL is the most recent addition to the over three hundred companies already utilizing EPay to process digital transactions in a manner that is user-friendly, secure and in alignment with industry standards.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With the backing of payment gateway provider, Cybersource, fans are assured of an additional layer of fraud protection and can purchase CPL tickets utilizing all major international debit or credit cards where applicable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pete Russell, CPL Chief Executive Officer, was enthusiastic about the development, stating that \u201cIn addition to fantastic cricket, the Caribbean Premier League is all about creating memorable experiences for our fans. For us this experience starts the moment our fans engage with us, and through this partnership with Republic Bank, Secutix and Cybersource, they can look forward to a seamless and convenient process to purchasing tickets.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Similarly, Nigel Baptiste, Group President and Chief Executive Officer, Republic Financial Holdings Limited shared that \u201cIn keeping with our stature as Title Sponsor and Official Bank of the Caribbean Premier League, we\u2019re pleased to demonstrate tangible benefits that fans will enjoy as a result of this partnership.\u201d He further detailed that \u201cWe will continue to work with CPL to introduce innovative digital financial solutions to enhance the fan experience and to augment CPL\u2019s well-established reputation for excellent tournament management.
