Pierre has announced a new 2.5% tax on goods and services effective July 1st, 2023.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Prime Minister says this levy will not be added onto food items unless prices increase overseas.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cLet me be clear, this levy will not be imposed on any food items.
